Games We Play

 We  play a little game when I come home from work every day - I try to find where under the big fluffy comfortor Fiko is sleeping.  Here's a re-enactment (you'll just have to imagine the little squeaks he makes as I unveil him).

Roman Learns

After watching Fiko for months, Roman actually learned a few tricks and got some air!  
The vet says he's 12 or 13 years old...do cats this old really still jump around like this? 

Laptop Landing

Fiko was going nuts, he jumped SO high then landed right on my laptop, smashing it flat.  
Right after this, he jumped sideways and landed on my foot, scraping it up something fierce. 

Fiko's New Toy

We got a new toy that has real-looking feathers and it really gets Fiko jumping.

Today's Gymnastics Event - Pommel Horse

First ballet, then football; now Fiko is training to be a gymnast.  See his late night pommel horse practice (thanks, Claire!!)

They're actually touching without fighting! This is major progress. Notice how Fiko tries to copy Roman's position. So, I'm thinking about renaming Roman - the new name I'm thinking of is Norman. It's almost an anagram of Roman, but it's more old man-like, since he's old and crotchety. What do you all think - Norman the crotchety cat??
