They're actually touching without fighting! This is major progress. Notice how Fiko tries to copy Roman's position. So, I'm thinking about renaming Roman - the new name I'm thinking of is Norman. It's almost an anagram of Roman, but it's more old man-like, since he's old and crotchety. What do you all think - Norman the crotchety cat??

Roman was found roaming around Stanford campus a few months ago by 2 students, who took him in for a few days until they got him to a shelter. They named him Roman because he was very demanding about his needs, such as "pet me", "feed me", "lie down so I can lie on your stomach" etc. (I just added that last one based on our experience). Anyway he meows very loudly when he wants something, and I guess they associated this with Romans?
